We began our personalized learning journey officially this school year. This session will be focused on how we have transformed our math instruction time block to better fit our students' learning styles and needs. We follow the basic format of mini-lesson, then give them an opportunity to further their learning experience through multiple forms. These opportunities include teacher guided, classmate guided, and independently guided. I would say this structure works best for upper elementary school 3-6th grade. Although it could be tweaked to work in the lower grades as well.
