Currently I am a Special Education Coordinator for Eastern Carver County Schools. Previous positions include teaching in special education at the high school level and working as a autism specialist. I believe "ALL MEANS ALL."
Learners with unique learning needs have many gifts and abilities. Teachers need to set high expectations of learners. We need to think out of the box on how we can frame and co-design learning experiences to meet students where they are at. Learners need to see, feel, and believe that we know they are capable and competent to achieve.
