Stephen is currently in his eighth year as superintendent of
Little Falls Community Schools. The district is at the forefront of many
educational initiatives centered on Personalizing Learning for its
students and Professional Development for teachers in Region 5.
In the past few years, LFCS has expanded its course offerings
and experiences in CTE, Health Occupations, ProStart, Computer Science, and Robotics as well as implementing a semester-long Internship program.
Prior to Little Falls, Stephen served as Superintendent at Sibley East and Murray County Central, and as the High School Principal at Maple River. Stephen began his educational career as a Speech/Language Arts teacher at Tracy Area. He served as an adjunct professor in the Communication Arts Department at Southwest Minnesota State University for nine years, and is currently teaching as an adjunct professor for St. Mary's University in Educational Administration.
